Born in Guanajuato, Mexico and raised in Southern California, his story has always been shaped by culture, community, and music. After spending his early years in the Inland Empire, he moved to Long Beach at age 10 and has called the city home ever since. His connection to music started even earlier, when he received his first Sony Walkman at seven and began collecting music. By 15, listening had turned into mixing, and he started DJing backyard parties using borrowed or rented equipment. At 20, he finally purchased his first full setup—two Numark Axis 9 CD players and a Numark mixer—and officially began building his craft behind the decks.
Over the years, the equipment changed, but his love for mixing never did. After upgrading to a Numark NS7FX controller, DJing remained mostly a passion project from 2009 through 2017, with the occasional gig bringing in a little extra cash along the way. In 2017, he decided it was time to take things more seriously, investing in a MacBook Pro, professional record pools, new equipment, and everything needed to expand into mobile events. More than an equipment upgrade, it marked a shift in mindset—DJing was no longer just something he enjoyed doing; it was something he wanted to build. Years of collecting music and casually sharpening his skills suddenly had a bigger purpose.
When 2020 put dance floors on hold, he adapted by taking his sets online and joining the livestreaming world. He eventually achieved affiliate status, using the experience to stay connected with listeners, experiment with his sets, and keep the music moving during a very strange chapter in everybody’s lives. Once events returned, he was ready to get back outside and bring that same energy to real-life crowds. Today, his style is shaped by years of collecting music, backyard parties, mobile gigs, livestreams, and countless hours behind the decks. Whether he’s reaching for a familiar anthem, an unexpected throwback, or the track nobody knew they needed, his goal is always the same: read the room and keep the energy moving.
At the heart of it all, DJing has never been about simply playing songs—it’s about what happens to people when the right music hits at exactly the right moment. He wants the dance floor to feel like an escape, where people can forget about everything else, let loose, and leave it all on the floor while he does the same behind the turntables. That connection between the DJ, the music, and the crowd is what continues to drive him every time he steps behind the decks. The gear has evolved and the journey has grown, but the mission remains refreshingly simple: create memorable moments and spread nothing but dope vibes and good energy. And if everyone leaves sweaty, smiling, and wondering how the night went by so fast, mission accomplished.
